Rules for using the Repository of the Lower Silesian Public Library named after Tadeusz Mikulski in Wroclaw
The Repository provides access to copyrighted documents that can only be made available on desktop computers in the Lower Silesian Public Library in Wrocław, in accordance with Art. 28 of the Act of February 4, 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights.
The database will contain a multi-media collection of various types of documents (written, audio and visual): books, magazines, non-book materials, films, music and archival documents about Library and its patron Tadeusz Mikulski.
Music and movie files can only be played on computers with headphones. The rest of the documents can be played on any computer in the library. You can search for items by keywords and description elements. Most publications are equipped with OCR, which makes it easier to search the document. In addition, you can search through directories and subdirectories.
Readers may not print or save the publication on their own media. Pursuant to the judgment of the European Court of Justice, it is allowed to make photographic copies by natural persons as part of permitted personal use (Article 23 of the Act on Copyright and Related Rights).
